I recently learned that Rachel Reasoner had children by three different husbands, VanDyne, Davis, and Cook. I am related to the daughter Lucinda Davis who married John H. Lipscomb in Iowa. I have a picture of her and she definitely looks Indian, and I have been told she was part Indian. It must be from her father as I can find no Indian in the background of her mother. I only know her father as ?Davis. Lucinda was born abt. 1837. Do you know anything about Lucinda Davis who would be a half sister to Asa VanDyne?
