Vandyke, Lincoln County, NC by Duane Van Dyke of 1096 Is your John Vandyke the same as the Jonn Vandyke on the 1810 Lincoln, NC census with four children (three girls and 1 boy) under the age of 10? Was Nancy his second wife? It lists the age of his wife as 16-25, yet on the Habersham,GA 1830 census it lists his wife's age as 30-40, so she didn't age very much. Also, do you know the names of the children on the 1810 census? I'm trying to determine if Sarah/Sally Vendike who married Christian Arney in Lincoln, NC 1819 is one of the daughters. I am guessing from the census records that John's brothers were James, Joseph, and Joshua, all sons of Richard. Notify Administrator about this message?
