I was glad to get your message. My grandfather had traced our family tree back to Thomas VanDover who was married to Honor Stockwell. He showed their children as John (1791-1858), George, James (1791-1850), Charles, Nancy and Rachael. I believe Thedorick was the son of James and was born in 1816. Thomas and Honor may have married around 1785 or 1786 in New Jersey or Delaware. I have not had any luck tracing past this point. My experience with genealogy is very limited and I don't know where my Grandfather found most of his information. Please contact me if you have additional questions. I am interested in any information you may have concerning the marriage of Thomas & Honor and who their parents may have been. My Grandfather shows Thomas as having been born in Holland, but nothing more specific. I look forward to hearing from you again.
