The 1860 census for Hickory, Missouri lists the following
Andrew Vandiver--47
Lucinda Vandiver--44
John Vandiver--13
Ann Vandiver--18
John E Vandiver--10.12 (Oct 1859)
John Blodglett--19
This Lucinda was born around 1816 in North Carolina eveyone else except for Andrew were born in Missouri. It does not say if they are all the children of Andrew and Lucinda. I would guess that they are not being there are two John's.
Since Andrew died in 1870 the 1870 census for Stark, Hickory, Missouri lists as followed
J H Vandiver--24
Martha J Vandiver--25
WM J Vandiver-4
Mary E Vandiver-1
Lucinda Vandiver-55
I would guess that she was living with her son at this time.
I know some will not like this but ancestry.com also lists Lucinda as Andrews' wife. I do not perfer to go with the other website listed on the last post that has Hollingsworth on it and I do not believe that George Vandiver married Elinor Hollingsworth. You will have to make your own call on that.
I hope this helps. I do not have any other details on this family. I did have down that Andrew married Lucinda Southard also. I am a decendant through Carlisle C Vandiver.
