Somewhat... More I'm here just to add another group of Vanderwaters to the line. My great grandfather (Leon A. Vanderwater) only died about six years ago... he was born in 1899 (died 1998) Anyway, I've researched back to the mid-late 1800's myself, for our family (just our line) and it's always been understood that Leon's parents were the first to come over from holland. Anyway, since there seem to be a wealth of people who are interested, and I've always wondered about the other lines of the family, I thought I'd pipe in.
