I found the following in an 1896 Brooklyn Eagle news article: In 1796 Vandewater Raynor built a house in Greenwich Point (Roosevelt), LI. In 1896 the home was demolished. It was a 50 acre farm which had a family burial ground west of the home. Several generations of family members were buried there. Vandewater Raynor had a son, Hewlett Raynor. In 1896, Royal Mollineaux was the owner of the home. An 1873 map, shows Hewlett Raynor as the owner of this property. Does anyone have any information on Hewlett Raynor, Vanderwater Raynor and the people buried in the family cemetery? Notify Administrator about this message?
