Hi Donna, Today I found at the IA Gen. Soc. a book: Centennial Sketches Map & Directory of Union Co.,IA 1876 p.103 has listed L. Vandeventer, Farmer,Nativity-NY,came to county-1873, Residence-Union street. That is all that I could find in my short visit. Also was looking for info about his son Isaac and wife Mary Firman in DeWitt with no luck. I have worked hard with the info you sent previously and do appreciate it so much. Beverly.
