Sherry.
I'm digging, but mostly concentrating of the CLEMENZ/S!

I did find 2 deaths/burials at Trin Luth. Church, Reading for Abraham's children:

Christina was Dorothea Christina CLEMENZ, dau of Abraham, and she was buried 12/14/1783, age 2y1m4d.

Johann Michael CLEMENZ died 11/29/1787, buried 11/30/1787, aged 1y2mless2d.

I think that Abraham was a son of John Nichlas CLEMENTZ who died abt 9/1785 in Rockland Twp.
1784 tax list shows both
Nicholas CLEMENTZ grist mill, 49 acres, 2 cattle, no one in h/h.
Nicholas CLEMENTZ Jr Rockland, 71 acres, 1 horse, 2 cattle 4 sheep, only one person living there, and it appears from his will abstract below, that he never married, and also moved to Womelsdorf at time of death.
(These 2 and Abraham are the only 3 CLEMENTZ in Berks Co in 1784)

Here is the elder CLEMENTZ will abstract:

Will Abstract:
John Nicholas CLEMENTZ, Rockland
Will dated 8/11/1785, proved 9/5/1785
To William SHAFFER, my stepson, 5.14.4L and to his brothers John Jacob and Peter, and sisters Margaret, Catharine and Elisabeth, the same.
To my wife Anna Maria 40L
To my sons John Nicholas, Peter and Abraham 30L each
To dau Esther, 24L
All real and personal property to be sold and children of second marriage named SHAFFER shall equally divide the moveables left to their mother after my decease.
Execs: sons John Nicholas and Abraham.
Wits: Henry ADAM and Philip STEIN.

Then...below is will of son John Nicholas, who died in Womelsdorf c1825. This will shows brothers Peter and Abraham are deceased, and he bequeathes to their widows. I have not found a will or estate file for either Peter or Abraham in Berks Co in my indexes up to 1825, so where did they die? Sure would like to find out names of all of Abraham's children!

Will dated 3/9/1822, proved 2/4/1825:
Nicholas CLEMENTZ, Womelsdorf, by others called 'Middletown'.
To sister Elizabeth McWATE, widow of John McWATE, 100L and 1/5 share of the estate.
To widow of deceased brother Peter CLEMENTZ, 1/5 share.
To widow of deceased brother, Abraham CLEMENTZ, 1/5 share.
To sister Esther, wife of William COLLINS, 1/5 share.
To children of deceased sister Margaret, who was wife of Elias FUNK, 1/5 share.
Exec: Friend Frederick SCHULTZE
Wit: John SMITH, Jr and John BRESSLER.

Diana
