I'm not sure if this is the same line as in my ancestory. We have Vanderslices in our tree. I'm trying to get a hold of my Aunt Marylou Rice as she has more information on our family tree. Our Vanderslice's come from the Chester County, Pa area. Sounds like your relatives if I remember the names right. Don't be suprised if you find gapeing holes in the family tree since, most of our family tends to be in little clics. They are also relatives of Walters, Rice, Holbrook and Foose. I'll get back with you on the other info when I get it.
