I am assuming that your great grandfather is James Robert Henson although my records show his birthday as Feb 1 not Feb 2 (could be a typo). I don't have any more information about him except that he was a brother to my great grandfather Richard Carroll Henson Jr. My grandmother was Mary Jane Henson. My mother who is still alive has kept much information about the Henson family including a few contacts.

I can help you with a lot of information including some about Richardson Vanderslice and Nancy McGavock. For instance, they are buried in Row 9 of the Cypress Cemetery in Willow, Dallas County, Arkansas. Directions are: Take Hwy 9, Turn right at Willow Sign. Travel approx. 4.3 miles to Willow Community. Turn left at intersection (old Willow Church is on the right). Travel another 1.9 miles to Cypress Cemetery. Cemetery is on the right, next to the Cypress Church.

I would appreciate any information about your great grandfather and descendants to help complete my records and would be happy to correspond with you with my information. Could you send me a copy (scanned or copied on paper of your great grandfather's birth certificate for my records? Also, let me know all about you, your parents, etc.

Bernice Dehl Schroer
