In 2001, the Magoffin County Historical Society, Salyersville, KY published 3 volumes on the Vanderpool geneology. On page 6 of volume 1, the following is printed.
"Abraham Vanderpool and Rebecca Isaacs had a son
l-A ABRAHAM VANDERPOOL, JR. b. 1750 Augusta VA d. 1794 Surrey, NC m.Margaret Stone, daughter of Enoch Stone. (Sometimes listed as Margaret Shepherd)

Also on page 10, The "Last Will & Testament-Abraham Vanderpool Surry County, North Carolina-1794" is printed. The last sentence of the will states " I appoint Enoch Stone and Andrew Kincannon senior for my Executors. As Witness my hand this 1'st day of March 1794" Signed by Abraham Vanderpool, Enoch Stone and Mary (her mark) Vanderpool.

STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA, Surry County,
February Session-A.D. 1795

I too am a direct descendent of Abraham and Margaret
