Abraham Vanderpool,Jr and Margaret??

I am trying to confirm the maiden name of my ancestor
grandmother, Margaret?? born 1753 in Virginia and died 1798
Surry,NC
Margaret was wife of Abraham Vanderpool, Jr
born 1750 in Augusta,VA and died 1794 in Surry,NC
He was the son of Abraham Vanderpoel and Rebecca??
Several years ago speculation was that Margaret was
a Shepherd, now speculation is she was a Stone.
No proof either way..
Does anyone have the information or marriage record
to confirm her maiden name??
Any help would be greatly appreciated
