According to the information I have, including the 1850 census record, Eleanor Vanderpool Johnson died in 1892. She was married to John G. Johnson and had six children and the 1850 census shows Eleanor and John with two children, James 15 and Charity 13. I was sent info with a John G. Johnson and wife Dena Johnson and two daughters, Lydia born 1829 and Betsey born 1840. Lydia married Zebulon Wheeler and Betsey married Richard Wheeler, both were sons of Isaac Wheeler, son of Richard Wheeler and Susanna Cables. Isaac Wheeler's mother was Dama Vanderpool, daughter of Richard Vanderpool and Jane Shoemaker and named for Jane's mother Dama Gaylord.
I don't have any other info on them as yet. I haven't done a lot on other lines than my own but as I go through census records and find more info I try to check out and fill in other branches of the family. As in a lot of other large families, there are many people with the same or similiar names because often they were named after other family members.
