Dear Darcy,
Now I am a year older (81) and wiser. So I found for you more about Ralph Vanderloo. He belongs to the great Loo/Loe family in Germany and The Netherlands. He belongs to a not attached not-noble part of the family, known as the Branch Emmerik-Duisburg, that ends (till now) with "Jan van de Loo uijt Cleef". The parents of Ralph are:
John Vanderloo (in Dutch Johannes jacobus van der Loo)b. 2 august 1845 in Gendringen, the Netherlands, + 23 february 1916 in Auburn, NY and burried in Auburn at the St. Joseph cemetery. He emigrated in 1854 with his parents to Troop, County Cayuga NY. John x NN Petersilli? They became 5 children among whom Ralph b. 8 august 1881 + 28 january 1970 in Hamburg NY. He x in ?? Florence Vieau b. 5 march 1894 NY + 14 january 1992 Wheaton, Illinois. Son Laverne b. 3 january 1908 x Lilian M.Cholette. If you have more information about Vieau etc I hope to hear from you.
with kind regards
gerard j. van der Loo.
