Nathan, Tentatively I think Elmer H. Vanderhoofven may have been a son of George Vanderhoofven and Elizabeth Louise "Lizzie Lou" Randell based on the following circumstantial evidence: (1) he was born in Oklahoma (where George and Lizzie lived) in 1910 eleven years after George and Lizzie got married, (2) he died in California (where George and Lizzie purportedly moved), (3) his mother's maiden name was 'Randell' (according to the California death index). George Vanderhoofven was the second son of Harry Vanderhoofven and Maria "Mary" Hessig, and George's older brother was Cornelius Vanderhoofven who married Effie Ola Matheson. Let me know if you can shed additional light! Regards, Bob Cummings in Seattle
