I just found a letter from June, 1999 from a Tom Doganieri asking about the VanDerhoof family in Amsterdam, NY; his GGGGrandmother was Melissa VanDerhoof from Amsterdam, NY. My father, Wilbur Milton VanDerhoof was born in Amsterdam on 04/14/1901, his sister Helen VanDerhoof was born sometime after that. I have no other info re: VanDerhoof families of Amsterdam NY or New York in general.
I have only a brother with the VanDerhoof name...anyone have info to share?
I am reading this VanDerhoof message board to find any connections.
