My wife was adopted as a newborn in Long Island, NY in the fall of 1946. She grew up with no knowledge of her birth parents. More than 50 years later, after her adopted parents' deaths, we discovered a birth certificate identifying her as RITA VANDERHOOF.
We would be interested in any information about the mother or her family.
