Looking for Louis Vanderhoof. Last whereabouts in 1838 Galena Illinois, JoDaviess County. He purchased Lot14Galena & Lot19 in Galenda. I believe he was a BLACKSMITH. Anybody out there with any info concerning this man?
Also looking for Louis/Lewis Vanderhoof, believe to be the son of Harvey Vanderhoof. Louis in 1850 Knox County Indiana, living with grandparents, George & Nancy Crock. In 1880 Louis was in the 1880 Knox County Indiana, town of Wheatland, listed as a BLACKSMITH. This may be the same Louis that I found in the Vigo County Indiana (Terre Haute) Directory in 1890, 1892,then again maybe not as he is listed as a "Finisher".
Anyone with any info? Would appreciate any & all info.
