She and Humphrey had 4 children: John, Cornelius, Rachel and Abram. About Garret in Morris County: there are several records available through the familysearch.org site that list a variety of Garret, Garrett, and Gerritt Vanderhoof/Vanderhoef that lived in Morris County, Passaic and Bergen counties in the 18th century. A Garret is listed in the Pequannac tax records for May 1778. Also listed are a Garret, Richard, Micheal and Henry. In several histories of the Morris/Bergen/Hunterdon county areas the Vanderhoofs are considered to be among the earliest Dutch families. In the Denville Cemetary they list a Jacob, LC, Wm, and David Vanderhoof. In Saddle River NJ a Garret Vanderhoof married a Susannah Drummond in 1779. Notify Administrator about this message?
