It sure sounds like the Vanderfords I'm looking for.
I don't recognize the name James Edgar, but I'm not sure I know all the names of John N. & Rachel's children & grandchildren. I believe the sons were Ed, John Lemuel, James Jesse Arthur, & Martin Luther. I understand most of them settled in and around Albuquerque. I am greatly interested in Ed & his wife Halla Mae Vanderford.
