For those of you interested ther is a great article on the Vanderbilt Mausoleum in the September issue of the magazine Antiques. It even has photos of the inside. I tried to track down the author for more info but it seems the author was using an alias. I bet its a Vanderbilt who wrote the piece.
Has anyone else heard rumors of what may be in the basement of the mausoleum? Todd
