I just got back from the Biltmore, again. I was wondering, after being there, were the Vanderbilts big into any specific breeds. I noticed quite a few pictures on the walls and even some small figures of setters and retrievers.
I read in a different posting that the Yorkshire and Irish Wolfhounds are probable, i.e. Reginald C. buying Bally Shamrock in 1925.
I'm a dog fancier just doing some research for curiosity's sake, but any replies are much appreciated.
