Consuelo VANDERBILT II, daughter of William Kissam VANDERBILT, Jr., and Virginia FAIR, was born in New York City on 24 Nov 1903. She and her sister Muriel are the subjects of a charming portrait by Boldini that may be found online at

Is Consuelo II still living? If so, she would now be 100 years old. The last record I have for her is in 1987 at the wedding of a granddaughter, when she was listed as Consuelo Vanderbilt EARL of Ridgefield, CT. Her husband, Noble Clarkson EARL, Jr., died in New York City on 17 Feb 1969. Several listings on Ancestry.com indicate that she died in 1993, but I have been unable to confirm this in the SSDI or in vital records indexes for CA, CT, and FL, or in the New York Times. MyFamily People Finder indicates a listing for Consuelo V. EARL and N. C. EARL in CT, but further information is available only to subscribers, which I am not.
