Frederick,
The big mausoleum was built by William H. Vanderbilt. Architecture was done by Richard Morris Hunt. The Only people in the big mausoleum are Vanderbilts and there wifes and children all other inlaws ar burried on the grounds around the mausoleum. the old tomb was built by Cornelius Vanderbilt
(The Commadore) The Sloane mausoleum was build by the Emily Vanderbilt Sloane side of the Family.
