I am again adding another post with new information in hopes that someone out there has some kind of information. I am looking for (I think) a brother to the Commodore that might have for whatever reason, paid his child off to disappear. I am desperately searching to connect this side of the family before it is gone.
My Great Great Great Grandmother would have been a Vanderbilt and married a Long, possibly the Vanderbilts didnt approve of the marriage?
They would have had some involvement with Huey Pierce Long, senator of Lousiana.
If anyone has any thoughts, even the slightest I am willing to listen.
