Doug,

thanks,
J.D. Beers is blank as to Godfrey's birth and he does not seem to be in the Athen's Zion baptisms.

I have some information about several the several various patterns german imigrants used. It helps me place sthe birth order of some of the VanDenburgh cross overs. he first several generations of Vd's used the dutch pattern with 1st male patten 1st female matenal, then 2nd male and 2nd female children honoring the spouse's line.

So it's good to know his birth order and tha of his descendants. Robert VD who married Catrien Brandow used what appears to be the palatine pattern.

Anyhow, I guess maybe a female bible or the like told his birth date.
