Doug round two The lists of stones are as they are seen. That is the actual stones themselves. I have seen both graveyards myself and I have no doubt that they are transcribed as accurately as they may be given age and condition. As to the home sites of the early VD's and nearby graves there is no dispute. Multiple sources including my father and uncle as told to them by my grandfather and great grandfather. Many descriptions of tours of the area written in earlier years describe the locations. If you check later on in other generations other public cementaries are used. You're right in that there are many holes in the early records. I have recently been looking in all te local church records in hopes of picking up the marriage of Robbert and The connection to another later line of Van Hoesens. Frustratingly i can onl find the baptismals of 2 the children. I do have the baptismals you mentioned and one more which I think is one where Robert was miss-identifed as Richard. These are sponsored by the VD side. Thnaks for he info Johannes' line. But the ones I selected showed the Brandow connections. there are other children whom are identified in other sources but I can find no baptismal. Another mystery is the lack of a marriage record. But Robbert may have married late for some reason. If Catrien or Catrina Brando is the youngest of her family as I surmise she would have been born after Godfrey who birth we don't have either. As all the sibling except the eldest who came to the colony with his parents were baptised in the West Camp church it seems likely that the records their were lsot after a certain date. The DRC of Catskill marriages have wide gaps in the data. As to Cristina Van Bergen co-sponsor with Johannes I am not sure who that sponsor is but she may be a sister or other kin.
