Jennifer, you have a long way to go! Can you write to your ggranfather Frank & Lois? Ask Frank for his parents' names and where they were born. Now you can go to the Census returns or BMD sites. When did the family arrive in USA.maybe the immigration shipping sites are worth stdying. The name v.d.Berg is fairly common in Holland, and scattered from north to south with no connection to each other.
