Van de Bogart and McNeil conneciton in New York State

I found a John McNiel (sic) who married Helena Van De Bogart in 1780 in Poughkeepsie, Dutchess Co., NY.
A Van de Bogart sold land in Armenia, Dutchess County, NY to a Peter Maison who sold it to a John McNeil who moved there from CT.
I also have an Isaiah McNiel (sic) who in 1816 was executor along with two others in the will of Myndert Van de Bogart.

I descend from an Isaiah McNeil b.1785 d.1855 and he lived in Poughkeepsie from at least 1810 until he died. I am wondering if this John McNiel and Helena Van De Bogart are his parents.

Any help would be appreciated.
