Hi- My husband is Francis William Vancour. We are just beginning researching his family. This is what we know so far:
His father - Alford Bert Vancour b:12 Mar 1908 - Glover, Orleans, Vt
His father - William A Vancour b: 5 Jan 1885 - E Hartley, Province Quebec, Canada
His father - Joseph Vancour married Mary Jane Leonard no dates known.
We do know that Joseph and Mary had the following children:
Mary - died as infant
Wallace - died 1935 married Aris Norris
William - married Myrtle Eliza Wright (above)
Emma - married Wilbur Morse
Lillian - married Perley Healey
Edna - married Clarence Waterman
George - married Hazel Norris
Edith - married Ernest Leonard
Anyone knowing anything about these people, we'd appreciate hearing from you. We know that my hubby had an uncle William Francis (whom he is named after). Thanks for all your help. Cathy
