Brenda , I am new at this. Your records show 3 Vancors in Jericho town 1860. From Civil War Soldiers Database I found my great-grandfather James Henry Vancor enlisted 18 Dec 1863 claiming residence in Jericho town. He lied about his age and showed 18 but was only 17 in '63 thus born sometime 1846. Was Enlisted H Co 9th InfReg VT. I do not know who his parents were but at 17 he must have been living at home which makes me think with one of the 3 Vancors listed? The cousin I will be staying with lives in Jericho. I am hoping he is a genealogy buff. I will kept this page and post to you when I return home mid July. Thanks for the posts.
