I have been doing some Arrasmith research for my nephew and I found Asa and Mary Van Cleave, their 3 children and Asa's nephew, John W. Arrasmith, on the 1880 Baker County, Oregon census. They are shown on that census as "Van Clean". I know that Mary (wife of Asa Van Cleave) is also on the 1880 Cassia County, Idaho census with her 3 children and no Asa. Both censuses were taken in June of that year, so I wonder which one's correct.
