Hi, Ethel,I just received all papers for Wm. H. Bamberger who fought in Spanish American War.There are 830 pages! There is mention of E. Vancil, his 1/2 bro and a mention of a Mrs Taylor.Wm was married, but apparently had no children.I was hoping for some descendants from this branch.Oh, well, I'll be able to close his line.He fought in Cuba and also in the Phillippines.Curiously, he was hospitalized at the Presidio in San Francisco. I have driven by the Pesidio hundreds of times.I saw a brief reference to your Morris. She may have been from Jackson Co., TN.I've only just begungoing thru the records; many are medical records and applications for increased benefits.I will keep my eyes open for anything pertaining to your Vancil/Morris lines.
