Hi Dave, thanks so much for the info...I asked my grandfather about if he recoginized any of the info and he said know and wanted to know if Vancil was interchangeable with Vance? He thinks that Mamie's last name was Vance. Mamie would have been his aunt-his father's sister. The info htat you have shared as far as locations go, sounds like it fits, but now that my grandfather's not sure of the last name-is making me frustrated..Now I have to dig out my notes and see what last name I have for her, but will keep in touch.
