I'm not even sure this is my grandmother either. Another post said that this Virgie (Virginia) married a Walters and that would have been a just few years before my grandmother married my grandfather. Nothing makes sense...but then it's hard to track down the Vances. I have seen her death certificate online. Her birthday was said to be March 23, 1900, and she was born in West Virginia.I was tracking down the Virginia whose father was John Colby because I remember hearing of a Minnie, but that Virginia can't be her either.
