If you have time Jamie -
Did Lord Jedburgh (Ker / Kerr) lease any lands in Drummaston barony (c.1650 half of Isle of Whithorn, Wigtownshire, Scotland) from the Vaus or Murray families ?
Did Lord Jedburgh have land originally leased by father-in-law of Catherine Vaus ?
Did Catherine Vaus and William Houston ygr have a lease of the other half (Isle of Whithorn) through a marriage settlement ?
Lord Kerr (Jedburgh) had land (townland of Killyless etc) next to the Houston family in Craigs Parish, co Antrim, N. Ireland
and may have had land in Ireland near Patrick Vaus from Lybrack / Lybreck. Some descendants of this Patrick may have emigrated to America.
