Hi Joyce,

You've really got me thinking now. I went hunting out Luther and found him with family in 1911 census. They seemed to think his father was Abraham? so your note helped a lot. Then I found where the mix up on my files was. Luther's wife Irene was dau. of James Henry Torrance and James Henry was brother to my Ella Torrance and Janet Torrance. Janet had a dau. Ann Phillips who m. George Henry Gosse. SO that is where it comes in...I was sent a tree by someone a long time ago and it was a bit hard to follow. That makes Irene Torrance a first cousin to my grandmother.
One other thing that I may have wrong...I had a dau. of Luther married to a Bernard Desjardins s/o Arhtur. It was on a tree online...so I guess Bernard is NOT the same as Gord??

Thanks again. This is great.

Shelley
