Samuel and Daraxa are part of my extended Van Camp family who are from Darlington Twp. Durham County Ontario and moved to Sanilac County in Michigan. I have not figured out if Samuel is a cousin or an uncle to my bunch.
My Vancamps in Sanilac County were the children of Jacob Vancamp and Mary Burke. Jacob had two brothers in Sanilac County, John and William. He may have also had brothers there named Samuel and Joseph. Anyway, there is a Vancamp family site and there are enough researchers there to figure out anything that you would like to know. to get an invitation to that site. The people on the Vancamp site would be thrilled if you could post the picture of Daraxa.
