Alison, I apologize that it has taken me so long to reply to your message. After some research I found out that most of the VanBuskirks were actually Loyalists and although they did fight in the Revolutionary War, they did not fight for the Patriots (smile)

So, this will not be usable for either of us in joining DAR.
