Thomas VanBuskirk, b. 17 Oct 1841, Tuscarawas, OH, d.6 June 1863 Murfreesboro, TN. Son of Samuel and Catherine VanBuskirk.
He died of wounds received at the Battle of Stones River near Murfreesboro 6 months after the battle. He is buried at the Stones River National Cemetery, Murfreesboro, TN. He was with McCook's 49th Infantry Division. I will add a picture of his tombstone (taken August 2007) in the virtual cemetery page.
