Mrs. Evelyn Russell Van Buren, age 74 in 1907, Galveston, Texas; married Mobile, Alabama, Maj. Henry Van Buren, CSA Artillery, October 19, 1865. They had two children; names unknown. In the Mexican War, or Civil War; Henry may have served under a general name Van Buren?

Evelyn was the daughter of War of 1812, Mobile, Ala., 3rd U.S. Infranty, Col. Gilbert Christian Russell, Sr., and wife Mrs. Margaret Hollinger Russell, wed Hollinger's Island. Seek names of her two Van Buren children, and of their descendants.

Jim Miller, Southport, N.C.
