So glad to hear from you!!! Samuel was my great uncle. My grandfather (Thomas) was Sam's brother and was the only one that did not go with the family from Iowa to Oregon.
My cousin Marge, who lives in AR, have been tracing this family for sometime now and she just recently make a significant break through. We have tied your Samuel and my Tom's family to ALL the rest of the Van Billiards in PA....which means that everyone with that name is related in some way. Would love to hear from you....let me know what I can share with you.
