Thanks for your reply. I don't believe we are talking about the same Isaac VanBibber as the Isaac I am talking about was killed at the Battle of Pt. Pleasant. A good source of information is the VanBibber Newsletter Archives. I believe you can still access them through Bruce Logan. http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~blogan/van_bibber.htm
Start at the beginning of the newsletters and go through them. They include numerous different families of VanBibbers.
As for the spelling, my GGgrandfather's death certificate listed his mother's maiden name as BunBever.
