Thank you for the site address. I will check that out today.

Isaac was not a Captain. He was a Baptist preacher who had come to see his brothers and was caught up in the cause and joined the battle. I know there is another Isaac VB who was a captain and they get mixed up. I believe it is the book on Boone that says he was a captain, and died leaving four children. Maybe some had died, but I think he had eight children.
