Hi List,I have been researching the New Castle CO DE families since the Cope family is found there 1683-1729 and I found 3 wills listing the Van Bebber families in New Castle CO DE. Book- Calender of Delaware Abstract Wills New Castle CO.1911 and 1969 bt Clearfield Pub. CO Balti, MD.
page 30 has Jacob and Mary Van Bebber-
Jacob Van Bebber- Merchant- St. George Hundred- 14 Aug 1733- 16 Sept. 1733- wife Mary son Jacob.

Mary Van Bebber- widow- and exc. of Jacob Van Bebber- St. Geo. Hd.- 16 jan 1733- 14 mar 1733-
son Jacob, dau. Mary Aston, grd-son Joseph Hart, only son of my dau. Grace Hart dec.d, Peter Van Bebber brother of my dec.d husband Jacob. Sister of dec.d husband to wit- Hester Gooding and Veronica Birmingham; Children of my brother Nathaniel FitzRandolph of Woolbridge, NJ; my sister Experience Moor wife of Samuel Moor.
Note: I found out that Nathaniel FitzRandolph is listed as a Quaker in NJ and is listed with Samuel Moore in records there.
page 35- will of John Pugh- Missionary of St. Ann's parish- 27 Aug 1745- 21 May 1746- wife Christiana-son Jacob, wife's sister Naudain; her sister Rebecca Van Bebber; her brother Jacob Van Bebber's dau. Ester Van Bebber.
Exc: wife Christiana.

1767 Pittsylsvania CO VA tax list of Hugh Innes-
John, Peter and Isaac Van Bibber listed next to Peter and Isaac Van Bibber- are Veath Dillingham with negro Jeany 2 taxables , James Rentfro Sr. & Joseph Rentfro and Peter Rentfro 3 taxables , James Rentfro Jr.also listed John Calloway negroes- Flemen, Asher, Nan and Nell.
William and Joshua Dillingham 2 taxables.
I also have of the Van Bibbers' on tax list where the Copes' are found in Russell CO and Lee CO VA and 1797 Grianger CO TN. These Copes' are found with the Boone allied families in Rowan CO NC 1768-1772 and Surry CO NC 1774. All 3 of these families the Van Bibbers', Boones and Copes' have one thing in common and that is they are or are found with Quakers.
