My grandfather was from Smithville, Tennessee. His name was Tony Vanatta and lived on "toad road" in Smithville. I also had an uncle named John Vanatta (one of my grandfathers sons) who also lived in Smithville. I remember going there every summer when I was a little girl. My Grandfather had a large family, including my father -Donald B., his brothers: Shirley, Shielie, Joe, John, and a sister named Bobbie Dell.
