I just discovered this site and I was looking to put a question out there to people who have been searching for Van Atta's. My great grand father who has now passed was raised in an orfanage and we have seemed to have lost his other brothers and sisters. As far as I know the family has not made any contact with that side of the Van Atta family. I belive he had about 10 siblings. He was from NJ and lived out his life in Baton Rouge LA. If any one has come across my grandfathers name in your search i would appreciate any information about any living relitives.
