My husband is a direct decendent of Moses and Hannah Hampton. Her is the information that I have on them:
Moses Hampton b.25 Nov 1762, Medham, New Jersey; died 26 Nov 1825, Bazetta, Trumbull, Ohio.
married 1787
Hannah Van Natta b. 19 Dec 1769; died 7 Sept 1856, Bazetta, Trumbull, Ohio.

They migrated from Beaver Co. PA around 1811 with their family. Their children are: Moses Hampton, Jr. m. Barbara Ann Smith; James Hampton m Mary Bradfield,; Thomas Hampton; Eveline Hampton died when 10 yrs old; Jemima; Elizabeth m. John Hathaway; Rachel m. Artemus Hathaway; Alydia m. Daniel Ferguson; Mary m. John McMahon; Margaret m. William Dawson; Hannah m. Franklin Palmer; There might have been another Thomas.

we have been to Ohio and visited their gravesite which was on a kind of busy street and a small family gravesite which I have pictures of.

I have been having a heck of a time trying to find their parents.

Moses entered the Revolutionary War from Morristown, Morris, New Jersey but I don't think he was born there.

If anyone has any information on their parents I would love to have it.
