I am seeking information on Catherine Van Alstyne. She and John Ehle were the parents of Henry Gustavus Ehle, who was the father of Mary Catherine Ehle, who married Gilbert Brush.
Henry Gustavus Ehle was a contractor on the Erie Canal who later moved to Hebron, Henry County, IL before the Civil War.
I am also looking for Mr. Larry Shatzer who had a web site that included the Van Alstyne family c 2001. His site no longer responds.
