Hi Casandra,
Lucinda's maiden name was Van Alstyne. Peter was not her husband, but her brother. Lucinda's parents were Abram/Abraham and Nancy Van Alstyne. Abram's brother John lived in Onondaga also, he is listed in the 1830 census for Onondaga county.
Lucinda's first husband was William Reshure(s), he is buried in Livingston Cemetery under the name Beshures. Jacob was her second husband.
Abram and Nancy Fisher/Vischer Van Alstyne had Margaret (my ancestor) who married George Harrington. Maria Van Alstyne who married Ripley Merrill. Jacob who married Elnor Van Patten, and Peter who never married. And of course your Lucinda.
This came out of a diary written by a Grandson of Abram Van Alstyne and son of Maria and Ripley.
I hope this helps. I would like to hear about your family line. And find out if you have more information on Abram. I have not been able to find his parents. Dianna
